Terms, plainly
Using Chicken Road means agreeing to the short, honest terms below. They exist to keep a fan project friendly and clear — not to trap anyone in small print.
1. What this site is
Chicken Road is an unofficial, fan-made editorial journal about the Chicken Road arcade game. It is independently operated and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the game's developer. Everything here is commentary and entertainment writing.
2. The game is entertainment
Chicken Road is described on this site strictly as an arcade game of timing, reaction and nerve, played for fun. Nothing on Chicken Road should be read as encouraging anything other than entertainment — the guides exist to protect the enjoyment of the game, and the game itself is for its own sake.
3. Accuracy and the info panel
We work hard to describe the game accurately, but game versions change and so do their parameters. Where the game's own info panel and our notes differ, the panel is authoritative. We accept corrections gladly via the contact page — that's how the ledger stays a ledger.
4. No warranty
The site is provided "as is". We make no promises that every sentence is current forever, that games behave identically across versions, or that the interactive trainer on our homepage resembles any particular build of the game — it's an illustration, clearly labeled as one.
5. Your use of the site
Read, link, and share freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't republish substantial parts of the site as your own work, and don't present this journal as an official source — it isn't one, and pretending otherwise would make us both look silly.
6. Trademarks
Any game names or marks referenced belong to their respective owners and are used here in a clearly editorial, fan-commentary context. Chicken Road claims no rights over the game — only over its own bad jokes.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted, Chicken Road isn't liable for decisions you make based on an independent fan journal. The advice on this site is opinion from enthusiasts, not professional instruction of any kind.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. The current version always lives on this page, in the same plain language as everything else here.
